Charleine Saad is a media and political discourse analyst and researcher, a lecturer in communication and rhetoric, and a translator. She holds a PhD in Language Sciences and Translation.
She publishes blog posts on www.beyondthewords.blog to uncover how politics and media use manipulative communication techniques to shape public opinion. In addition to her academic teaching and research, she is the founder and managing director of the Agora for Public Speaking initiative through which she provides workshops and training sessions on the importance of verbal and nonverbal communication tools for the success of the communication process.
Her current research interests include cognitive linguistics and discourse analysis, manipulative techniques in communication and film remakes.
